Elizabeth Joanna Mitchell (nee Robertson born 27 March 1970 height 5' 9 is an American actor who is famous for her roles as The Dr. Juliet Burke on ABC's television series Lost and as FBI agents Erica Evans on V. She's appeared in films such as The Santa Clause 2 The Santa Clause. Gia. The Escape Clause. Mitchell is currently a co-star on Eric Kripke's TV show Revolution and broadcasts on NBC. Joseph Day Mitchell's stepfather was an attorney in Dallas and so is the mother of her character Josephine Marian Mitchell. Mitchell and her mother moved into Dallas Texas in 1970 where her mother married Joseph Mitchell in 1975. Mitchell has a degree from Booker T. Washington High School, a magnet public school for performing and visual arts. She is the oldest sister of Katherine Day Kate Mitchell, Kristina Helen Kristie Mitchell, and Kristina H. Kristie Mitchell. In 1991 she graduated at Stephens College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting and she was also enrolled at the British American Drama Academy.Mitchell worked for a period of six years at Dallas Theater Center and a one-year stint in the Encore Theater.
