For the June 2003 issue of Vanity Fair, she was named as one the year's hottest teen celebs. In 2004, Vega finished filming two films: Sleepover and State's Evidence. The following year she was a part of the Lifetime TV film Odd Girl Out, as one of the victims of cyber-bullying. In 2006, she was a star in another made-for-TV movie, Walkout; and finished filming Remember the Daze, which premiered in theaters with a limited release in April 2007. She finished filming Repo! The Genetic Opera released in 2008. Aram Rappaport was the writer and director of Helix on the set of Chicago. Filming started in March of 2008. She was initially cast for Robert Rodriguez's 2009 Robert Rodriguez film Shorts. But due to the fact she was visiting Australia to film Broken Hill, the role as Vega in Shorts required to be recast. Kat Dennings replaced her. Penny was a character that she played in Broadway's Hairspray. She played Ruby Gallagher was on the ABC Family TV sitcom Ruby & the Rockits in 2009. The show also featured Patrick Cassidy and David David Cassidy, and Patrick Cassidy. Vega is Wick on The Devil's Carnival (2012) which is a film by directors Darren Lynn Bousman, and Terrance Zdunich. They have previously collaborated with Vega in Repo! The Genetic Opera. Vega was also the woman who is pregnant as a pregnant woman in The Pregnancy Project, a Lifetime Channel film. Her animated film The Clockwork Girl has been finished. The Mine, a film produced by Vega and released in 2010, was only shown to a limited viewers. Vega also played Christina for the animated TV series Unsupervised. The actress was featured for Royal Pains. Vega was the character in Aerosmith's "Legendary Child" video, which was a song. [13]
