
Suzanne Pleshette was an American voice actor, actress and film star, born January 31 1937, died on January 19, 2008. Pleshette began her stage career, and was a part of films in the late 1950s. She was later featured in notable films like Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), or Spirited Away (192001). From 1972 to 1978 Pleshette was an recurring guest in various TV productions. She also appeared in Emily Hartley, which earned numerous Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette was born on January 31 1937, in the New York City neighborhood of Brooklyn Heights, to Geraldine (nee Kaplan)[1] and Eugene Pleshette. The parents of the couple were Jewish immigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary. Her mother was an artist, dancer and choreographer, who performed under the stage name Geraldine Rivers. Her father was the stage manager at the Paramount Theater, Manhattan, and the Paramount Theater, Brooklyn.
