Gemma arterton

Gemma Christina Arterton was born in the town of Gravesend, Kent. Greater London. Her most well-known work is for her roles in movies including Quantum of Solace, The Disappearance of Alice Creed, as well as a myriad of other like 'Hansel & Grete: Witch Hunters. Born in Gravesend (Kent), Greater London and she was a student at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. While in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, she started her acting career by playing an actress supporting in the comedy 'St Trinian's'. Soon after, she appeared in the spies thriller "James Bond" film , 'Quantum Of Solace'. The film was a success commercially, and received only average reviews. Later, she played the lead female character in the action fantasy film "Prince of Persia - The Sands of Time". Recently, she acted in as a support role for"Orphan," a French film "Orphan". Arterton has been nominated for numerous awards throughout her entire career one of which was she won the 'Empire Award for the Best Newcomer' for 'Quantum of Solace' as well as the 'Evening Standard Theatre Award' for her performance in the musical 'Made in Dagenham'.
